Do you multitask? Many people do. Most of the people who call me on the phone are not paying any attention. I answer, announce myself and then there is a long pause. What are these callers thinking? Are they on the ball? Are they paying attention, or are they in outer space?
Then, there are the multitaskers. They are typing away while you are talking to them and they ask you to repeat everything you say because they are not registering anything.
I notice that I have a huge mistake rate in data entry when I am doing two things at once.
If time is short, it is great to multitask. But, don't do anything important or critical while you are multitasking.
Walking and talking business on the phone generally works Driving and talking on the phone generally works
Then there are other types who can't walk and chew gum at the same time. I call them and they can't talk because they are driving, or because they are about to go into a closing, or because they are at a closing, or because they just got out of a closing. Just stop for a moment and listen to my question -- it is a no-brainer yes/no question, but you are so busy telling me that you can't talk that you spend more time resisting me than it would take to answer the yes/no question.
All you have to do is LISTEN -- and then say "yes" or "no". Don't think about your appointment. Stop what you are doing, listen for 10 seconds, answer for 2 seconds, and then we are done!
Multitasking -- it's not worth it!

Tips for using the forum
The most important feature on the forum is the search box. You can look up a particular word, phrase, name of a company, and see a potentially large list of search results with which you can obtain data. Filters are also valuable. If you want to find popular posts, you can use the number of views filter. You can also see whats new with the active topics link. Email us at info@123notary.com if you need any help using the notary forum.
Resources
The notary public resource page is valuable as it has links to all of the free information pages for notaries. Pages linked to the resource page include a page that teaches you everything you need to know to get the most out of your listing. Another page teaches you all the secrets of getting paid. There is a link to our free list of signing companies. There is also a glossary, learning tools, and much more.
