Joan, great tip on the DPI! Thanks. :D

I have a Brother HL5370DWT and it is a true work horse. I purchase my toner and drums on Amazon or at Sam's - about the same price.

I checked out Corporate Toner Supply, but it is not EOM and is a 'compatible' product. I used a 'compatible' product in the past on a different printer and as these printers are 'high tech' it ruined the printer and had to scrap it and buy another. As a result, I am a bit shy about trying 'compatible' supplies for my workhorse! :D

Joe
I use the Tn 650 from LD Products and have them shipped last time for $24 each (have to buy 4 at a time to get this price).
They deliver the next day.
Make sure your DPI on your printer is on 300 and not 600. You waste way too much ink at 600.

Another place for toner is Corporate Toner Supply out of Newport Beach, CA. Brian, the owner, used to be a notary and gives special discounts to notaries. I use TN-650 for my brother and I got them for 29.99 but you have to buy 2 at a time to get that price. It's still much cheaper than Staples, and I haven't had any problems with them. He sells drums cheaper too. The number is 888-308-6637.

I have a Brother Printer that uses the TN-420/450 toners and so far I only had one not work from Amazon. I tend to go with whoever has a 4 star rating or higher.

I'd say go for it. What brother charges for it's ink is criminal compared to the off brands...
