Received e-mail from Jill that Escrow just paid her and now she is sending me a check. She communicates well.
I will keep you posted when I get the check. Signing was on May 10th, but the closing wasn't going to take place until the 30th. Looks like I will get paid under 30 days.
Okay - I will. Documents were slightly different than what I was accustomed to. A Pennsylvania purchase. Didn't like that some documents by lender (not any document requiring signature by my signers) were predated and signed by Settlement Company - signed and dated as of May 30, 2013 (3 weeks - WTH?). But like I said, it was not on documents that my signers were required to sign and the funding isn't going to take place until May 30 anyways from what the signers informed me.
To: Adergan: Please advise when you do get paid and how long it takes in case she ever calls me again. I looked back at my records and it seems the job did not pan out. Thanks for your input. Pat
Communicates well via e-mail. Tried to reach by phone - left message - no return call.
Did a signing for her this evening after receiving e-mail after 5:00 pm because the prior notary flaked. I dropped off Fed Ex package (this evening) after I tripled checked - sent receipt for drop-off - sent my invoice and will have to see when I get paid.
Client's were very nice - that's what I like about the job - you get to meet all kinds of people :)
Jill's phone number is: 562-686-4027 (sprint mobile phone). She's been e-mailing me - found another notary - they flaked and now wants me to do it at the 11th hour. I don't know her - but do have concerns. I will not be going to the client unless she answers all my questions. Maybe I'm being a little paranoid for not having phone to phone contact.

Okay..I have to ask...
How does a notary and/or company (which as a referral service that's apparently what this is) line you up for a job and doesn't give you a phone number?

Has anyone worked for this company? I have a signing job coming up and I'd like to know if anyone has any info on Jill Reese w/Jill's Mobile Notary Referral Service, 10901 Scott Ave., Whittier, CA 90604...I do not have a telephone number. Any comments are appreciated.
