Hi Friends! I'm still teaching for NotaryClasses.com and truly appreciate those of you that have reqested me by name -- it means more than you could ever imagine and it certainly helps me when the boss, Dan Jones, hears about it. Many thanks
I teach all over So Cal, but primarily in LA county. If you live near Los Angeles or care to make the drive, I promise you a class that's not as boring as others you've taken and confidence in your exam. There are a few new laws for 2012 but they're no biggie - I'll post in a separate read.
I just took my own Notary exam in December and the questions assured me that what we're teaching is on target. I do always suggest, however, that you study before class to ensure success. Remember, you only need a 70% to pass but missing the mark by one point would be horrible, so even seasoned Notaries Public should invest in their success, and I suggest you especially study the fines and penalties section.
And, even though experienced Notaries who qualify for the 3-hour course can do a home-study program or just show up at noon, I suggest that you spend the extra few dollars and sign up for the 6-hr course anyhow -- I always, always have students who tell me that they learn something(s) new and that includes 20 yr Notaries.
You never know - you may even have an opportunity to market yourself and make a new friend.
Please don't hesitate to contact me directly if you have any questions at all or post here so everyone can benefit. Hugs, Kel

Tips for using the forum
The most important feature on the forum is the search box. You can look up a particular word, phrase, name of a company, and see a potentially large list of search results with which you can obtain data. Filters are also valuable. If you want to find popular posts, you can use the number of views filter. You can also see whats new with the active topics link. Email us at info@123notary.com if you need any help using the notary forum.
Resources
The notary public resource page is valuable as it has links to all of the free information pages for notaries. Pages linked to the resource page include a page that teaches you everything you need to know to get the most out of your listing. Another page teaches you all the secrets of getting paid. There is a link to our free list of signing companies. There is also a glossary, learning tools, and much more.
