I have never experienced RM refusals either. They can be more challenging for us do to their health problems, extra friendly and talkative borrowers, etc. They are usually more confident at the table than the average borrower due to the fact they have to go through counseling during the application process.

David, perhaps you are thinking of a mortgage modification? Sometimes the borrowers are going through a stressful part of their lives and still unsure of their future.

Not sure where your assignments are coming from Mr. Williams, but I haven't had one RM refusal in over 6 years in this business. All of mine get signed and fund with no problems...and the borrowers are very happy.

BTW, have never worked for MSI - can't even find them in google..

No, but be careful of any reverse mortgage. They have a very high rate of refusal at the table; make sure when taking the assignment you will be paid 100% if there is a refusal.
