1.You always change the venue to where you are conducting the signing. Just draw a line through it, (initial next to it) put the correct County and State. Depending on where the Venue is in the document. Does it pertain to the notarization or the property.
Sometimes on affidavits the Venue is at the top of the page and the remainder of the notary certificate is at the bottom with the document text in between. In this instance you would most likely make the venue reflect the signing location.

2/3 If it doest say notary on it you don't sign it. You are not responsible for anything except verifying the identy of the signer(s), making sure they sign and initial properly and notorizing where appropriate.Sometimes certain documents state 'closing agent' or 'signing agent' instead of notary. I generally read through the document to see if it is something that is part of my job such as taking ID information. Generally and ID sheet will have a place for the notary signing agent to sign stating they have reviewed the IDs that they have listed the information for on the ID sheet. Sometimes this will say closing agent or signing agent. If it seems this is to be signed by you because this is a task you performed or filled out and need to sign to validate, just line through the incorrect title and put notary or signing agent. Prior to any of the above it is always best to ask the hiring entity what they want you to do. They don't mind questions, it makes them feel more at ease knowing you will ask questions instead of winging it and doing it wrong.
