I did not get a call or email about the 40 notaries needed but they probably weren't in my area.
I have been working with MDA for over a year. I know that they were recently bought out by another company and some little things have changed like now you need to wait for approval to drop docs. Where as before you could just fax and then drop. I am not to impressed with the fees but must say I am glad most of the assignments are close and the ones that are not they are willing to compensate for.
I have gotten locked out of my accoujnt and was not able to login to get an assignment. But that was because I didn't remember the password. Not their fault. I can't say that their customer service is worse more recently. Over all I like this company and I am glad they were one of the first companies to give me shot when I was a newbie. |

I find them very difficult to work with. Your user id is only good for a short time and they email you if they have a job. So if you are timed out on the website, you have to call in to have it reset and by then the job is gone. |

Has anyone noticed that MDA is starting to lack in their communication skills? Lately I find them horrible in returning phone calls or emails. Also, I keep getting locked out of their website. Anyone else having issues with them? |

I have not been contacted, but are you registered with them already? According to their website, you must be background checked by them and pay for the check thru a deduction from your pay ($45). Not sure if this would apply if they hired you to do affidavits on salary. FYI: They also are offering a "Standard Notary Fee: $46.00 (exception pricing may apply)". Which seems extremely low. They request info on your current clients, but restrict your right to name them as a client. Some other things to consider - how many signings do you do on average in a week, how many affidivits would you be doing in a day while on salary, do you have to travel between banks in your area or are you assigned to one bank, do you want to be stuck in a bank 6 days a wk 10 hrs a day? Figure out your costs and what you are making now and then determine if this offer is a good deal for you.

Don't know what the normal notarization fee is in TX. In AR, it's $5/pop. This would be solid hourly income for up to 2 months--probably as an employee? And I think your hand would fall off in the process, but $1200/week or 'what you normally make in a week'. Easy to figure out.

Has anyone else been contacted by MDA to notorize affidavits at BoA beginning 11/8 for 30 - 60 days? They are saying they need up to 40 notarys 10 hours a day 6 days a week. Pay offered me was $20 per hour. Would love to hear feed back on this. |
