I highly recommend that any new person that is new to this industry should take a loan signing course. It is very competitive market with tons of new signing agents entering the field daily. You need to know what you are doing...period.

I am not sure about the background check part. I get calls daily and not one signing company, tile, escrow etc has mentioned this to me. In fact none of my companies even know what I am talking about when I bring it up. We'll see what the new year brings.

It was correctly stated that you should sign up with as many companies as you can. You need to also advertise as well. Call me at 888 838 1458 any time aftger 8:00AM pacific time. I will go over all of your available options with you.

Start signing up with as many companies as possible. Be prepared to be background checked for all of them; even those that do not do the checks.

Resources
The notary public resource page is valuable as it has links to all of the free information pages for notaries. Pages linked to the resource page include a page that teaches you everything you need to know to get the most out of your listing. Another page teaches you all the secrets of getting paid. There is a link to our free list of signing companies. There is also a glossary, learning tools, and much more. If you are a notary, the free tips we give are invaluable.
