This agency owes me over $200 for a closing (had to go twice) I did back in June. They do not respond to e-mails or calls. They do not deserve to still be in business!! Crooks--all of them!! DO NOT USE THEM!!!...or they will USE YOU!!!

Positive. I have not worked for them in about 6-7 months, but when I did work for them, I really liked them. No problems especially with payment. I always got paid in about 30.

I accepted a job from Premier in OH to do a recent closing. I was in the car at the time, so as soon as I got home (about 20 minutes later) I checked them out on the chat boards and discovered their payment issues. I turned the job back (it was Friday and job was on Monday evening, so plenty of time for them to find someone else). Glad I did it!

Sorry to hear that Search2Close is using them as a signing service. I used to do a fair amount of work for Search2Close back in 2007 and at that time they hired notaries directly and paid $175 per job. I haven't heard from them for a good long while. I agree that you should definitely make them aware that the SS they are using is not paying.

Premier did say in their confirmation that your W-9 must be submitted to them in order to receive payment. They also had a contract to sign, which I did not return any of those items since I turned the job back. Here is a copy/paste:

W-9 TAX FORM AND NOTARY AGREEMENT MUST BE COMPLETED TO RECEIVE PAYMENT
Failure to comply with all instructions could result in forfeit of partial fee.

Schatz. I am having the same issues with Premier Signings out of Ohio. I did a closing for them over 45 days ago and all I get is the run around. And the fact that no one in the a/p department will talk to you is so unprofessional in my opinion. And I think as soon as Search to Close finds out what they are doing they will stop using them. They must think we are a bank that makes free business loans, they need to understand the upfropnt cost we pay to do their closings, toner/paper/gas/tolls/computer/internet/cellphone/insurance. Then a person you cannot speak to in their a/p dept pays when they feel like it. I bet they pay themselves on time everytime, they are off my list of companies I will work for

I'm very disappointed in this company. It's been over 80 days since I performed a closing for them and still no payment. I have sent countless emails to George (the scheduler), Matt (the owner) and to the accounting email address advertised on their website. George is always polite and assures me this is not the way they typically deal with notaries. The fee was $200 and the travel was approximately 60 miles late at night.
