Heh...I'm sure hoping not - I have a signing at 6:00 today - was called for it on Thursday - hope they realized today's a holiday cuz I don't have docs yet...

Updated: Postponed to tomorrow at 7:30...:)

Some do, some don't. Whether or not a business closes on any given holiday is a decision that is made by the management of the business. Government offices are usually closed on legal holidays. Some holidays, like Christmas, New Years and Independence Day, fall on specific dates. If the date falls on a weekend day, the government offices often observe the holiday on the Friday before or Monday after the holiday. However, remember that only Sunday and the legal holiday day are not counted for rescission purposes.
