I did a signing on 1/25/2010 for them and haven't been paid. Invoices and voice mail go unanswered. What is the business plan with people like this? Sure, they save money in the short term by not paying the notary, but we all know how this will end for them. |

I conducted a loan signing application for Notarywork, Inc., Gaetano LoGrande on August 5, 2009. After completing the loan application, I was contacted again to complete the signing on September 24, 2009. I printed two sets of docs arrived at the confirmed time of between 8:30-9:00PM , the signer was nowhere to be found. I called the signer over 13 times and left vm messages for contact and followed up with the title company, First United Home Loans, 5-6 times that night.
I have contacted Mr. LoGrande by fax, email and voice mail. He either doesn’t answer or becomes irate with the ol’ “check is in the mail.” I have also contacted the following: a. California Department of Justice. b. California Secretary of State c. California Department of Consumer Services d. California Department of Corporations e. Notify other notary public/networking sites of the details of non-payment. f. Contacted the Lender/Title Company- First United Home Loans g. Registered the details of the occurrence with the BBB. h. Contacting any and all regulatory agencies associated with notary and title agencies in the state of California. i. Will Contact/contract with Old Debts Collection Agency to collect payment j. Contacted the borrower
Say “No, No, No,” to NotaryWork.
