Well, I've never worked for Ted so I really can't comment. I've met him and we've had many pleasant conversations and I can say he's certainly a nice guy! I've heard from others who work for him and there's never been a complaint at all.
Ted - I guess I don't understand why you need people to contact you, rather than you contacting them? What purpose am I missing here, for the SA list here on 123 to need to be circumvented? Perhaps it's that reason that should be discussed, so that Jeremy can consider how best to meet everyone's business needs.
I wouldn't be a fan of this e-mail idea - take this idea out past one 'special' request like Ted's and extrapolate a bit. SS's sending state-wide blast e-mails, routed through 123. What's the point? What am I missing here?
Not being argumentative, Ted - I just don't get it.
123 already has a platform for SS's to solicit, though it isn't being used. Why not promote THAT instead? Before it can be promoted, it definitely needs some spring cleaning, but ...why re-invent things? |

That's a great offer Jeremy! It really is a great way to serve and promote 123. But, nobody has yet responded from Michigan - not even from either of the known Networks. Forums are pretty slow all over at the moment. |

Wouldn't it be a great idea if you sent an e-mail to the dozens of folks that have listings on 123Notary in Michigan? Such a note might include information about how prospective fees will be determined and if you negotiate them, the payment schedule that you will be using, your Better Business Bureau status, the kinds of assignment people might expect, including the type of agreements (Standard Refi, Reverse Mortgages, HELOCS, VA, FHA and so on), when faxbacks might be required and so on. Of particular interest might be the time of day that you typically need folks as many notaries seem to be simply supplementing income and are working evenings and weekends only. You may have other interests in what you expect as well - maybe you could spell it out in your invitation. You should be able to get a pretty good response to your inquiry by contacting folks directly as not all folks are forum readers. Well, what do you think of that approach? |
