I do not, as a rule, worry about nonpayment until 6 weeks have passed. I find there are very few companies that get payments out within 3 weeks. Please let me know who some of those companies are because I will make sure to jump at the opportunity when one of them calls me for work. Patriot Title has made good on every loan I have closed for them. Maybe 7-10 this year?

Please be advised that the following company is very slow to pay after you have completed a job for them: Partriot Title LLC 11447 Cronhill Drive Ste: A Owings Mills, MD 21117
I did a job for them on 05/01/09 and still have not received my check as of 05/20/09

My experience with Patriot has been good for the most part. They pay well and ontime with no problems for Refi's. If it is a Respa, they take forever to pay. It is like they "forget" about them and you have to call and call and e-mail invoice after invoice. I refuse to do anymore Respa's for them. I will take all the Re-fi's they send my way though. Never a problem there. [/quote
I did a RESPA for them and was paid at just about the 30-day mark - I'd work for them again, no problem.

Only done one signing for them which had to be re-drawn and re-signed out-of-state. Nevertheless, they still paid my full fee and received payment within 45 days. My idea of a respectable title company; I'd work for them again.

I concur with mfleites. I think Patriot is great to work for. They pay well and fast in my book.

Yes this company does pay within 30 days. I have conducted several closings for them and will in the future! |

If this was a loan closing (not a RESPA signing) and there were no extenuating circumstances (such as no-sign or no-fund, in which case Patriot will still pay you full fee, it just may take a little longer) then I agree you are being a bit premature complaining about Patriot. I've worked for them a number of times, and I have received payment anywhere from 12 - 24 days and all points in between.
If you do a good job for them, they will call you again and again. I wouldn't even think about contacting them about past due payment until the 30 day mark.

Steve, you must be new to this business. Have patience. 30-45 days for payment is normal.
