MIS is typically 30-45 days. Signing Pro...60 + a few. Stay on 'em & they will pay. Yes, it's a PITA.

Thanks for the heads up about Mortgage Information Services. I had accepted a signing with them but after checking this site, I told them I had to have advance payment. I'll let you know how that lead balloon goes over!

Signing Pro is having problems paying. I guess there CEO embezzled money from the company and so they are almost 2 months out on paying, but I have not seen any payment yet from them.

Beware of Mortgage Information Services. They owe me for a closing I did in December. At first they lied and said they were a Signing Service. I found out they are a Title company. They're in Cleveland, OH. They owe me for 2 trips I made to the same borrower. They told me they owe me for only 1 trip, but they haven't paid me anything. They keep saying the check is in the mail, but it never is. I faxed them a letter telling them I intend to take legal action, then I received a nasty phone from someone claiming to be an attorney for them. He threatened me and I hung up on him. I'm going to follow the steps that Jeremy outlined in his post. Thanks, Jeremy. Wish me luck.
