Thanks for your reply. With the pre-inked stamp, I was going to highlight the necessary procedure to either, sign, initial, and/or date the specific page in question. So if the lender does not want any stray marks on the document, then I will comply. Again, thanks for the info. "Better safe than sorry."

NO. Most lenders and title companies do not want any stray marks of any kind on any of the documents, especially the recorded docs. Using the 'sticky' tabs are okay because they are removable, but a stamped impression is not.
Besides that, what would you do if you made a mistake and stamped a "sign and date here" on a document that didn't need it? Also, not all signatures will have dates and signatures don't require initials, so if your stamp says "sign, initial, date here", it probably wouldn't be valid on any document.

I purchased a pre-inked stamp with the inscription "Please sign, initial, date here. Is it ok to stamp loan documents/notarizations with a pre-inked stamp instead of or in addition to "Sign Here" tabs?
