Hi Linda,
There are two possibilities. Our zip database is leased from a third party. The information is not always completely accurate. The other possibility is that the browser misinterpreted what was on the screen. We have two tiers of results in remote areas. The first tier could be 0-18 miles and the second could be 19-36 for example. If the browser thought that the whole page was 0-18 miles then they would have misinterpreted the results.

The bottom line is that 123notary's function is to help you find a notary. In a remote area, the notary might be fairly far away, but can get the job done which is the most important issue.

Curious here - I got two calls tonight for a signing...tonight...who said they found me here and according to 123 Notary I'm under 25 miles from the signing location. Not true - in reality I'm 45-50 miles from the signing location.

How does 123Notary calculate distance for SS's & TC's reference in finding a notary? I'm just curious as the calculations are obviously out of whack.
