I am sorry if you have had a 'bad experience' with Select Signing...I have been doing work for them for twelve years. There have been occasions when a title company has not gotten documents out as planned...not a signing serice responsiblity; and title has not passed this info to the signing service to pass on to the notary. I have never had a fee reduced. Payment is current. Sometimes we must be adult enough to realize 'shift happens' in our professional and personal lives....please continue to turn down their requests..that leaves more work for those of us, that appreciate a professional company. |

I have been working with Select Signings for a few years now. I really enjoy working with them. They are professional and easy to reach for any reason. I never have to worry about getting paid. Great Company! Kim-Boise

I received a call from Select Signings. I was told they would overnight the documents & that I wouldn't have to fax any documents back after the signing. However, it clearly stated in their instructions that all docs were to be faxed back. I also never received a tracking number or method of shipment. It also included a "Signing Service Fee Responsibility" statement indicating that the borrower was responsible for the signing fee payable to Select Signings. This contract was supplied by the signing company & not the lender. This was not mentioned during the confirmation. The fee was very minimal & definitely not worth my time or aggravation.

I received a signing confirmation from Select Signings where they were overnighting the documents to the borrower - long story short, they never supplied the method of shipment nor a tracking number. After I emailed a request regarding whereabouts of the documents, I was told FedEx Priority. That never happened. Interestingly, included in the confirmation was a statement that was to be notarized wherein the borrower indicated he or she would be responsible for the signing fee (payable of course to Select Signings - no mention of the notary)should they decide to cancel. Additionaly there were fax backs (everything you notarized) and no mention of either of these items was made at time of confirmation. As far as I know, the documents never arrived at the borrower's home and I finally told them that I was unable to sit around for hours awaiting mystery documents and being kept in the dark without even a tracking number. Not very professional and not worth the time. As an aside, this "agreement" is questionable at best - a separate agreement not supplied by the lender or title company - it is a "side contract" and in my attorney's view, improper, if not illegal in nature. Don't need this grief.

hi
I have worked for this signing service for the past 8 months. They pay fairly fast and I can always get a hold of someone on the phone. They also don't mind you saying "no" to a signing. I have on many occasions rejected a signing for either distance or fees and the next day I get a call for another signing. I highly recommend them.

I've done a few signings for a California company calling themselves Select Signings and have no cause for complaint. They are professional and competent, and pay net 30. I'd like it if they sent me a lot more work - one loan package every 4 months isn't going to make me rich! |

If still in business, Select is the worst. |
