I recently obtained 500K E&O in the State of Kansas. The agent who put the coverage in place does business all over the nation. The premium was pretty reasonable. 647 no deductible and they allow payments. Contact info for the agent is

We carry $100,000 and that appears more than sufficient for the risks we may incur as a notary signing agent. As Carmen states, look at the costs versus the anticipated benefit and don't become insurance poor unless the anticipated revenue stream is worth it to you.

It is going to cost an arm and a foot for 500K. I just read Kelly's post on 'go mobile notary' how Einerson (they were the cheapest) has upped their price for 100K to 585. How much work are they going to give you for you to re coup what 500K will cost you? I work for many title and escrow companies that don't ask for any e and O. I have been asked for 500K only on one occasion.

It has to be worth it financially for je to spend that kind of money.

A Title Company has requested that I obtain $500K in E&O insurance to be able to do closings for them. I currently carry $100K and the company I am insured with does not insure for anything above that amount.Do you know of a company that handles $500,000 E&O for a Certified Signing Agent
