Well here is the day it all changes for us in Calif.

All loans signed in CA from today and forward (12/27/2007) will have to have the new Acknowledgement verbiage to have a Deed Of Trust record. Any loan signed today will record in Jan 2008.

My opinion is to carry approx 10 CA (2008) loose ACK Certificates at all times.

I had to use 6 today.

I agree with you all and starting Dec 27 2007 we can all use the new CA ACK verbiage.
No more decisions to make at the end of 2007.
Happy Holidays to all!

The removal of "personally appeared" is in my opinion is no big deal because we could always line through it.

The problem in my opinion is the wording added for 2008 underneath our ACK verbiage is:
I certify under PENALTY OF PERJURY under the laws of the State of California that the forgoing paragraph is true and correct.

Without this wording a Deed of Trust in Calif will not record beginning Jan 1, 2008
