Here's a thought...if you have sample loan docs at your disposal how about doing a test run on a friend? Open book so to speak - will help build your confidence in your presentation and gives you the opportunity to present a doc then say "hang on, let me take a better look at this" without the pressure of being under the gun in front of the actual borrower.

Thank you for your reply. I will try and take the next one. But I think I need to read up on my loan signing instructions so I can feel more confident.

If you can, try to grab some quiet time for yourself to regroup and maybe you can find it in yourself to take that next assignment - once you get going you may find work is good therapy - takes your mind off your personal challenges long enough so you gain a fresh outlook when you go back to them.

My sympathies on the loss of your mother and I certainly hope your husband recovers quickly!!

One question? What company did you take your notary class to pass our state exam in CA? I teach for www.notaryclasses.com.

Call me tomorrow if you need additional help? 1-951-522-4919.

Carmen,
My mother has passed away and my husband has been hospitalized since August 13th with a severe abcessed diverticulitis. On the way home from the hospital I received my FIRST call to sign for a foreclosure that needed to be done the next day and sent back right away. Having never been out to a signing yet and with all that is happening I had to be honest and told my story to the person. She was very sweet and understood and said she would call me for the next one not to worry.
I am worried!! I feel like I don't have any confidence and don't know the first thing about what I am doing. Can you help me with some words of advice - besides you are going to hunt me down and kick my a--!!.

Thanks

Marty Travis
