A notary block is what other states call an official notary certificate. This block contains standardized state wording for various types of notary acts such as Acknowledgments, Jurats, Protests, etc. Each type of act has its own wording. The wording starts of with a venue which lists the state of Montana and the county where the notarization takes place. Then there is some standardized wording for acknowledgments and jurats. After that there is a place for the notary to affix their official seal and also sign the certificate form. Here is an example of one such acknowledgment form.
