A notary was late to an appointment. Their excuse was that they stopped to look at an accident. It was on the highway. Several lanes were blocked off. The notary drove at 2mph by the accident, rubbernecking, hence preventing the people behind him from getting where they were going. He blocked them by going so slow in a one lane situation. Then, he parked, to take a better look at the accident. His thoughts were:

Was anyone hurt?
OMG, look at all of that broken plastic and broken glass.

So, he was 20 minutes late to the appointment and told the borrowers all about the accident. The borrowers were alarmed about the accident, but couldn't figure out why this nitwit spent so much time looking at a situation that he had no control of and was not involved in.

Then, they got to the HUD. The notary commented on how the notary fee was $250, but they were only paying him $70. He kept commenting, and staring at that figure. The borrowers asked if everyting was okay. He said, he just couldn't believe it and had to stare at that information for 10 minutes.

The borrowers came to the conclusion that the notary was a nut and told the lender all about him. I wonder if the notary got fired.
