Just the other day at a signing I decided to try one of their sweet coffee drinks, the first in probably 6 years or so I've had. For the price, it wasn't very impressive. It was very light and full of whip cream and air, the Vanilla Chai Latte. All for just $3.75.

Sincerely yours,

Notary's Life

Do fish swim? Does a bear crap in the woods? Do cats purr? Does America ship its jobs overseas to China and India?

Sincerely yours,

I've only had to do a few signings at Starbucks, thankfully. Never liked them. Too noisy, and not enough room on the postage stamp tables to comfortably sign and stamp the documents-(especially the legal sized ones) they take up the whole table. I also dislike the lack of privacy. You almost have to yell to be heard by the borrower. Don't they care if other people hear details about a major loan transaction going on in a coffee shop? Maybe it makes them feel important.

I did a refi at Starbucks once. Husband and Wife in process of divorce so public place was best. It went fairly well although *I* wasn't crazy about the lack of privacy. No problem with table size, though - maybe the tables here are a bit bigger.

Yes I have. Little itty-bitty tables. Other customers 18 inches away. Nothing to drink until afterwards so no one will spill anything.

Problem with cafes is stains on the papers by water, coffee etc. Getting crumbs in the paperwork.

My favorite place to sign documents or meet people is at a cool cafe. Even as a dream symbol in dream dictionaries, cafes are a place to philosophise, reflect and interact with others in a cool atmosphere. I have many pleasant dreams about cafes. But, what about signing loans?

Do you have any fond memories of signing at your local Starbucks while sipping a latte that you carefully placed on a CHAIR next to you, so that it would not spill all over the HUD-1? Tell us!
