Definition 1:
A certificate of title is one type of certification. Many companies and attorneys specialize in title searches so that they can find the certificate of title

Definition 2:
Signing Agent Certification is another type of certification. Many notary directory websites offer their own signing agent certification. Each company will have a different preparation text and a different examination. Some agencies have open book tests with no time limit. 123notary's certification test is only six and a half minutes long and is online. The time limit is intended to make sure the test taker really knows the answers inside out, and is not looking anything up. With that type of time pressure, the test taker will not have time to look up any answers, hence, forcing them to know their basics, and know the basics well.
