Once you understand the rules of the game and gain a little experience, being a mobile notary/signing agent is pretty straightforward.
Right you are Carmen, there are three squirrels in my neighborhood who are signing agents. The problem is that they work for peanuts!

Yes, I remember this well. Boy was I nervous. And thank goodness, I am good at juggling more than one thing at a time! You asked the questions and I didn't even really have to think about it. Once you understand the rules of the game and gain a little experience, being a mobile notary/signing agent is pretty straightforward. |

I just saw Carmen today, and she told me the story of how I gave her the certification test. In those days we had very limited computer technology, and I did testing only by phone.
She was driving over the long bridge in San Pedro that goes over all of the loading docks and container ships. It was very confusing and she didn't know where her turn was or which lane she was supposed to be in. If you make a wrong turn there, you will go two miles the wrong direction before you can turn around.
Anyway, I bugged the hell out of her and made her take the test -- because I knew if she didn't, it might be months before I could get her to take the test. People are very hard to track down.
In any case, she passed with ease and I said, "See, I told you it would be easy for you"
