I have a background in training in the food service industry.

My education includes NNA Notary Essentials, Loan Signing System Certification, and NNA Notary Signing Agent Certification. I continue to stay up to date by engaging in notary Facebook groups, listening to notary podcasts, and watching loan focused YouTube videos. I only follow other well respected colleges of the notary world and are NNA ambassadors.

I closely follow the Virginia Secretary of State Notary and NNA Handbook. I am a member of the NNA, so I have access to a hotline for any questions that I am not able to answer regarding notarial acts.

***In the state of Virginia, I am not allowed to accept voided checks or accept money at closing. I can ONLY perform witness-closings. ***

I have a single tray printer, but I can print both legal and letter efficiently.
I will provide the borrower a set of clean documents for their keeping.
I can complete scanbacks. I am happy to complete signings at the borrowers place of convenience such as soccer practice, a church, or school.

I can perform closings within 100 miles of Suffolk. Any further, I will need 48 hours in advance if the closing is 100+ miles. Additional payment will be discussed for 100+ mile closings.

Christina Banks is a commissioned Virginia notary public and may notarize documents in any county of Virginia . It is not permitted to use a Virginia notary public seal for mobile notary services outside of the State of Virginia . However, if you find a notary or mobile notary that has a dual notary public commission in a neighboring state, then it would be legal for the notary public to use the commission for the corresponding state.
