You need a $10,000 Michigan notary bond and you need to file an oath of office with your county clerks office
to become a Michigan Notary Public.  Michigan law does not require notaries to use an embossed Michigan notary 
seal or rubber Michigan notary stamp on a document. However, documents sent out of state may require an 
embossed notary seal.
