You need to be actively marketing yourself - WHENEVER you are not working. Does every business, and medical office within a 25 mile circle have your business card? Perhaps a small ad in the local paper? Lawyers often need mobile notaries too.

Put a filter in your text receiving device to eliminate them - and thus avoid the frustration of their cheepo texts. Without that pesky annoyance you can concentrate on marketing. You can maintain your standards. They are NOT the only game in town.

Not Good. They take business away from experienced notaries and don't want to pay...if you get paid at all. Also, not enough info when accepting the offer. I had one that turned out to be a 250 page trust and I drove 1 hour one way and spent over 2.5 hours because the trust needed 6 signatures per person and they were sssllloooowww. Afterwards the company would not even reply to my request for more money. If I had known this I would not have taken the order. If they want to play like that then in the future when I receive the docs I will cancel if they do not want to compensate. These companies know what they are doing when they do that.

I don't get much in the way of low ball offers, but do get a lot out of range ones, and out of state offers too! However DocPros who use me a lot have improved tremendously on their payment schedule

I agree with the others. A LOT of texts come through, most WAY out of my driving range and 90% of them low ball offers. The problem is, there are SO many notaries out there that if you don't take the job, someone else will and then I sit home not working and broke, with the knowledge that I value my skills more than they do. As was stated before, if you decline and enter a fair price for the job, they just move on and take someone with less experience.

Well, can't say I like 'em. Too many low offers sent to too many people with not enough info to make a informed decision.

If you work for Snapdocs does that mean you have to be snappy, or a snapper? Just joking. But, what has your experience been like? Many people get high quantities of low paying work. Some hate it and drop out. What about you?
