We have a new feature on our forum which is the LIKE and UNLIKE icons. These will appear on the top left of strings. Please be selective about which posts you like or unlike. The purpose of this feature is so that we can have a special section for posts that are popular with the notaries. We'll try to rotate the posts there, so life will not get boring. We hope this feature and new page which is the HOT TOPICS page will make your forum experience more fun. the hot topics page is already in existance and has posts that were popular and recently responded to. It is a good page now, but we want to make it much more selective to enhance your experience on our site.
How to pick a good post?
For me, I look for the QUALITY of the interaction. A post that has no reply doesn't earn my particular like, since I'm the site admin person. On the other hand, if 2000 people read it, then it must have some merit. But, what about a post with 30 responses, all disorganized and boring. That doesn't get my like either. I'm looking especially for posts that make interesting and unique points, that have interesting and well written responses. Interesting dialogues and conversations. Not more of the same, but something refreshing that I will enjoy reading again in 2016 if a tsumani doesn't destroy California (fingers crossed -- so far so good).
