I'm pretty much outraged about this site.

I hope every notary who is aware of it sends his or her notary administrator an email or makes a phone call. This is serious.

From the Nat'l Assoc of Secretaries of State's "National E-Notarization Standards":

"Under no circumstance shall a notary public base identification merely upon familiarity with a signer's electronic signature or an electronic verification process that authenticates the signer's electronic signature when the signer is not in the physical presence of the notary public."

This company with a listing on this site is located in California
and is advertising Notarizations in New Jersey using a computer and a Webcam.
Be advised that Notarizing docmunts in New Jersey without a PERSONAL apperance before a Notary is ILLEGAL.
This is also a great danger to the consumer who may be led to believe that they have ontained a LEGAL notarization.
