Posted - 01/25/2013 : 3:22:56 PM It all started on a warm and sunny day.
Sam the notary went to a signing. He didn't confirm, and didn't show up on time. In fact, he was 30 minutes late. Better late than never, right? In Sam's case perhaps not.
Sam parked in the driveway, and his car was dripping fluids, not to mention the fact that he was blocking someone who needed to leave in a hurry. Sam walked to the house by trodding all over the family's newly planted section of lawn. Actually, that is good for the new seeds, but the borrowers didn't look at it that way.
He rang the doorbell, and said, "hi" when he arrived. He didn't bother to announce who he was. They had to ask. "Are you the signing agent?". Sam said, "Uh, what?.... Oh... yeah". They sat down at the dining room table. Sam just put the documents in front of them and said nothing. The couple gave each other a strange look, and then began to read. The notary started talking about sports and the situation with Ahmedinijan.
The notary additionally put the wrong dates in the right to cancel document. When the couple asked the notary where specific pieces of information were located, he gave the wrong answers each time.
The borrowers reported him to the lender, and the notary was never used again by that signing company.
The end.
