Posted - 09/24/2012 : 2:11:03 PM The bid email Recently, 123notary sent out emails to those with a p#13-19 ranking asking them to put in a BID for what they would pay for a top position. Notaries MISUNDERSTOOD what was going on and made many inquiries that indicated that they thought something fraudulent or unethical was going on.
Free market = bidding All free market businesses set pricing based on supply and demand. 123notary is not different. Many companies selling high priced products with limited supply collect bids for their products. There is nothing unusual or unethical here unless you live in Russia which is a place that some of our notaries should consider living since they think that capitalism is "greedy" or unethical.
Clueless emails and false accusations I received many dumb emails asking me if I was going to throw people in the top spots off 123notary if someone overbid them. NOT SO. We are just collecting OFFERS, just in case the top people decide not to renew their spot. We are not kicking anyone out unless they don't pay their renewal bill by their deadline. Most listings are for one year, so we wait until the end of the year. 123notary has never violated anyone's paid term with us. We follow our policies on the policies page with no exceptions.
Are we perfect? There have been a handful of cases where two people bought the same position on the same day creating a technical issue with placement. These errors are honest errors and account for far less than half a percent of all orders. These errors were all resolved quickly to the best of our ability.
Questioning our integrity We have been a stand up company from the beginning. We have not cheated anyone at any time. If you suspect someone of doing something unethical without evidence then you are making a FALSE ACCUSATION which is very damaging to society, to people's price, and is unethical. You would be calling someone else unethical when it is YOU who is being unethical. Do not make accusations until you understand all of the facts. Do not jump to conclusions.
We are only taking bids We are only collecting bids so that if someone in a top spot drops out on their own, we know who to call first to offer their place to. We will never kick someone out mid-term who is regular about confirming their listing and has functional phone numbers, etc.
Do you want to make a bid? If you want to bid on a top position, the bid merely gets recorded in our database. Nothing happens unless or until someone drops out on their own. However, that bid could be your ticket to one day being #1 or #2 and could revolutionize your career. Think of the opportunity. If you don't know what to bid, try to estimate the value to your business from having a high spot. How many more clients would you have and how much extra per month would you make? Email us to bid on a position... info@123notary.com |

If you want to find popular posts, you can use the number of views filter. You can also see whats new with the active topics link. Email us at info@123notary.com if you need any help using the notary forum.
Resources
The notary public resource page is valuable as it has links to all of the free information pages for notaries. Pages linked to the resource page include a page that teaches you everything you need to know to get the most out of your listing. Another page teaches you all the secrets of getting paid.
