Once in a while you get a break in this business. Wednesday I got paid $1,000 for 140 signatures. They were willing to pay me whatever I asked but I decided not to take advantage. It only took 3 hours and I already felt $1K was a little steep. This doesn't count having to fill in all the blanks in my journal however where he signed 140 line items. I know they expect us to complete the journal entries at the time of the notarization but this wasn't possible since the business was about to close.

I gave them a $400 discount and they were happy with it. I just couldn't bring myself to charge that much for $3 hours worth of work and was quite happy with $1K.

I don't mean to make anyone jealous, it happens to all of us once in a long while. This just happened to be my opportunity. You'll have yours too eventually. I established a good repore with the client and they were pleased to pay me that amount.

I thanked God too of course.

Sincerely yours,

Notary's Life

Wow, what a deal! I had to do 300 signatures for a car dealership (not in one day, though)I felt so lucky for getting such business! This happened only once throughout my 9 years doing notary work.
This is a blessing!
happy signings everyone
