Posted - 04/20/2012 : 09:35:11 AM I am relocating from Tucson, AZ on May 23rd, 2012 to Tampa/Clearwater, FL and was wondering if anyone can tell me what is a average fee charged by a Mobile Notary for Overnight Docs/EDocs. Presently since March 2004 in Tucson, AZ my average fee has been $120.00 per signing which includes both Overnight Docs/EDocs.
Most companies I deal with know that for overnight docs within 40 miles of my location I would charge $75.00 and for EDocs within 40 miles of my location my fee was $125.00.
Any signing in excess of 40 miles of my location is always negotiated and I have never had any problems with companies concerning my fee because of my experience for the last 18 years.

Posted - 04/20/2012 : 7:58:57 PM As nobody has responded... take this with a grain of salt or the whole box. I relocated a few states away and can tell you this does not go well. Different areas/different business. Think the most startling thing was that the fees that I was quite happy with in my former state did NOT translate well in the new state. Nor, frankly, could I have possibly figured that out until I experienced 'the differences'.
As to the 'average fee'...much of that will depend upon how much competition is around you.
If you don't value your time and experience, nobody else will. |

Tips for using the forum
The most important feature on the forum is the search box. You can look up a particular word, phrase, name of a company, and see a potentially large list of search results with which you can obtain data. Filters are also valuable. If you want to find popular posts, you can use the number of views filter. You can also see whats new with the active topics link. Email us at info@123notary.com if you need any help using the notary forum.
Resources
The notary public resource page is valuable as it has links to all of the free information pages for notaries. Pages linked to the resource page include a page that teaches you everything you need to know to get the most out of your listing. Another page teaches you all the secrets of getting paid. There is a link to our free list of signing companies. There is also a glossary, learning tools, and much more.
If you are a notary, the free tips we give are invaluable.
