Posted - 04/07/2008 : 10:55:08 PM I have 2 Brother MFC8860DN printers and I ordered 2 additional trays so I could pull legal and letter size when I print loan documents.
The cost of legal paper has sky rocket in the last couple of months and I am wondering if other loan signers are considering buying a dual tray printer or a 2nd tray for a printer they already have?
In Riverside CA at Sam's Club the difference between legal and letter is $15.66.
I have always printed the Borrowers Copy Econo mode and I am wondering if this truly saves much toner?
I can't see a difference between the copy to sign and the econo mode setting on the docs; it might be a little bit lighter but it looks pretty much the same to me.
What do you think?

Posted - 06/29/2009 : 09:50:04 AM I found legal size paper at Quill for $3.02 a ream using a coupon code. You can find those by Googling Quill+coupon code. They have a minimum for free shipping--I think it's $50, but paper is heavy. If you don't order enough paper to qualify, consider other office supplies like binder clips, etc.
I think the sale is only good to 6/30, so hope you can get in on it.
BTW, I have a Brother MFC-8460N which has been a real workhorse. I have bought Brother printers for the last several replacements, and really have had good service.

Posted - 06/24/2009 : 4:56:35 PM There are two drawers in each of your printers right? So you can print one set of loan docs using only one printer? It's not that you have to print on one with the legal then print in the other with letter size?
Did you buy your printer new or refurbished? I am looking into your model.
Have you found that Sams is the cheapest place to purchase paper?
