Posted - 10/03/2018 : 7:58:43 PM They won't pay for an application until the loan goes through. If it didn't, you'll have to keep after them as you have already. Send an invoice and a collection letter, if you haven't already. Phone calls seem easier but are easily ignored.

(Assuming this is a mortgage application) - I would check the recorder's office and see if that mortgage recorded..if so, the loan funded and they've been paid - and you should be too!! Get a copy of the recorded security instrument and use it as proof of the funding of the loan
Good luck

Posted - 02/17/2016 : 10:21:14 AM It was an application. But that is no reason to delay payment. |

Posted - 10/06/2015 : 5:44:50 PM Ronie, was the job you were paid in June for an application instead of a refi? They paid me quickly on a refi I did for them, but my husband signed a VA application over 30 days ago and now they're telling him they won't pay until he completes the signing for the loan, if it's approved. Just wondered if your situation was the same.

Tips for using the forum
The most important feature on the forum is the search box. You can look up a particular word, phrase, name of a company, and see a potentially large list of search results with which you can obtain data. Filters are also valuable. If you want to find popular posts, you can use the number of views filter. You can also see whats new with the active topics link. Email us at info@123notary.com if you need any help using the notary forum.
Resources
The notary public resource page is valuable as it has links to all of the free information pages for notaries. Pages linked to the resource page include a page that teaches you everything you need to know to get the most out of your listing. Another page teaches you all the secrets of getting paid. There is a link to our free list of signing companies. There is also a glossary, learning tools, and much more.
