Has anyone worked for American Signing Connection, LLC before? Are they still in business? This company has not been mentioned on the forum before.

American Signing Connection:: I done a signing for them in June 2017,
have tried to collect my money since the end of June, no answer of the phone or anything else.. I sent e-mails, they come back saying they moved... I guess that I will have a problem collecting my $150.

Aug 2017. I did work for this company on June 9, 2017 and did not receive payment and looks like I never will get paid. Their phone is disconnected and I cannot reach the escrow officer to report this problem. The google reviews show other notaries that have lost a lot more $ than I have. I would recommend not accepting work from them at this time.

I am owed $590 by American Signing Connection for transactions completed from January through August of this year. I have sent emails with no response, and now there is no answer on any of their phones. I am devastated. This is a huge amount of money for me, and I worked so hard for them. If anyone has any information that will help, I'd be appreciative.

I've done a couple of jobs for them recently and they have paid me in 30 days. I just completed another one yesterday which was a large package with many duplicate documents, but they told me up front and I charged accordingly. They met my fee. I haven't had any issues with them.

A notary told me they use a collection method that works. However, I consider it in poor taste; and advise against such tactics.

They look up the web site of the company
They locate the number that their clients call (not the notary number)
They FAX their invoice to the company incoming VOICE client line, knowing that FAX machines "try" multiple times.
They also FAX to the company FAX machine with a cc: to the voice number

This effectively ties up the companies access to THEIR clients who wish to give them assignments.

Once Again: This is IMHO an improper, probably illegal form of harrassment. If you thought of this, think again; don't do it.

"Overall they seem to need 4 sets of everything so they can throw 3 away"

ROFL - okay...that tickled me. :)

Based on past comments, I wasn't sure about giving them a chance. They agreed to my fee and bumped up my fee due to size of package. Received payment around 45 day. Issues of package size related to lender (if one copy is good then 5 copies are better). The lender is not one of the better ones and the Title is one that likes copies from lender package. Overall they seem to need 4 sets of everything so they can throw 3 away. I would give them 3 1/2 stars.

Absolutely avoid this company! They lied about the package size and then lost many docs and expect me to resign for free. They called me unprofessional and wished me a bad business year. They are liars and thieves. The CEO made it clear she would not pay me for the 200 pages I printed and had signed. I think she needs to reevaluate HER professionalism. She is crazy! If you work for her it will be for free.

I received payment on April 26th for a closing done on January 8th along with a note of explanation for the lateness (accounting system crash) and a small late fee (which I did not ask for). I'm not sure if I will work for them again but appreciate the fact that they sent the note and the late fee was a token of appreciation is how I took it.

I did 2 jobs for them in January. I've called, faxed, e-mailed and sent them a Facebook message. Nothing.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I did closing for them 2/7/14. Last minute, paper intensive but agreed to a higher fee. As of 4/8/14 no pay yet. Excuse: Their accounting system crashed and they have to rebuild by hand. Told me I'd get paid by end of last week. Nothing They are liars, don't respond to email or voice mail

Simply a poor excuse of a business and refuses to respond to emails or voice messages. I have an outstanding invoice over 60 days. I have emailed them that I will call the title company and lender unless payment was receive by 3/31/14.

Today is April 1st and it is no joke, I am calling today.

I did a closing for this company back in Sept. and still no pay. I have emailed and I have called and get no answer. I will not make this mistake again.

Did a signing for them in October of 2008. Wrote 4 e-mails to them. Second e-mail they replied they would look into it. Had to threaten a lien on the property and contact with State officials. After 2 more weeks and no response to e-mails, filed a complaint with the BBB in Atlanta and received payment. Be very cautious when dealing with these people.

I did my first signing for them on 2/4/08. Had to email them on 3/17 about payment. Terry replied on 3/25 that "This will be sent this week and should receive early next week." Still no check. It is now past 60 days. In addition the docs were wrong. Borrowers signature lines included middle initials. Borrowers did not have middle names as evidenced on Driver Licenses and Soc. Sec. cards. Had to correct all docs as instructed by Title.
Since ASC will deduct $25 from fee for any Notary errors, I added $25 to my fee with explanation on my invoice and also with an advance email advising I would do so.
First and Last signing I will do. Loan signings are a necessary supplement to my only income; Social Security. They only get to do me once.

I have worked for this company for years and always was paid on time. But as of recently I have had to call for payment - I have received payment but not with out calling first.

I got my check for signings I did for American Signing Connection, LLC. It was an FHA. Same borrowers, two different signings. The borrowers made some changes. I was paid quite well, double because I had to go back twice, and extra because it was late at night. It took about 1 1/2 months after the last signing, but I'm happy, I got the money.

I'm still waiting for payment from signing I did on 2/12/08. On 3/19, I was told that the check is in the mail. Nothing yet.

They're still trying to rip off NSA. Called me today, got irate and shrieked at me when I advised wouldn't close because of their 'policies' and bad reputation.
