We all get "missed calls" and most times we return them in the hope that the return call will lead to an assignment. However, what I have been getting (about half a dozen a month) are ONE ring calls. Of course I cannot answer that quickly and my phone displays "missed call". Of the one ring variety a return call is to a telemarketer selling something. I am on the National "Do Not Call" list. Soooo, I report EACH one ring call as a violation on the Do Not Call directory. Take care in returning these calls as you might be calling a rather expensive "entertainment" number and really up your cell bill.

Hi Kenneth,
You are not a single victim of this. Even I get tons of calls from telemarketing companies after registering in Do Not Disturb service. This is so frustrating for me when its happen in between meeting or conference. |
