Posted - 01/08/2014 : 08:38:45 AM I performed a HELOC loan signing for this branch's personal banker Alex Canzano back in November 2013.
As of today, I still have not been paid. I submitted an invoice IMMEDIATELY following the loan signing.
I had made several calls to Mr. Canzano as well as the branch manager Avo Aslanyan to no avail. I have also sent e mails as well.
I don't know what's happening and needless to say I'm quite concerned.
I was told by Mr. Canzano that the invoice had been submitted to Wells Fargo Accounts Payable.
At this point, I had my attorney send both of these men a demand for payment e mail. My attorney also tried to contact Mr. Canzano, only got voice mail.
Looks like this signing could be a "bad debt."
All I can do is shake my head. I did the signing in good faith and should get paid.
Until I get a satisfactory response, I would advise my fellow notaries to decline job offers from Mr. Canzano.
