The only time I ever got a phone call returned from Joanna in accounts payable at XYZ was when I left my phone number only with a
message that I owed XYZ money and didn't know where to send it, or to whom to direct it. The lady was slightly irate when I told her that was just a ploy to get my call returned, and here's what we need to talk about...............to no avail, of course. At least I got a lick in before she dumped me.

After I got the Lender involved I was paid within a couple of days. XYZ was upset I contacted the Lender and I told them that it would not have happened if they had paid me in a timely manner.

Anyone have info on Signatures Plus checking account? An attorney friend is working on tapping into their account for my payment. Thanks!

SOX owes me over $300 -- after several promises of sending me payment, I haven't heard a thing from them. I filed a complaint with BBB, which BBB finally closed due to non-communication from SOX. I filed a complaint with Consumer and Community Relations in Sacramento, they told me to contact BBB or Small Claims Court. I even contacted the lender to let them know that SOX didn't make it a habit to pay their notaries, they didn't seem to care, only thing they cared about was that SOX delivered on the deal with the lender.

My only advice is to get the word out to everyone you know that yes, you might get paid for a signing or two, but that's it. Never take a singing from SOX, don't take the chance.

I have had problems with XYZ and Infinate Notary. Did XYZ pay? They have promised to send a check for 2 closings from October. Joanna calle me back after I went to the agent that scheduled me.
