I've had a Premium Listing with Keith for years and continue to list with GMN because it pays for for itself in no time.

Notary websites market their sites by pay-per-click advertising on search engines, general presence on search engines, mass emails, calling individuals and companies. At 123notary we have two people answering phones and we always answer emails ( unless you address it to the wrong address ). I can not speak for other directories. If you don't get enough business, why not make a list of things you can do to improve your general "presence". I can give many tips on that topic.

There is some good information on this site but do not get near enough business. I would like to know for one, how directories market their website and two, when they get busy why they ignore their clients (clients being the notary)?? It is funny how they will talk with you all day to get our money and then once we pay, we can no longer get a hold of a real person or even get them to respond to email. If you are going to have a business and do marketing for notaries or anyone for that matter, they should have enough staff to support all concerns. Just my opinion. I talk with quite a few notaries here in Arizona and we all think the same way. It is so frustrating...we run a business too and our time is just as valuable.

I do receive some calls through this website, but most of them are from individuals that are looking for a notary for other than loan signings....like for an adoption, or a DMV certificate, or a will or something like that.

I love gomobilenotary and am a paid member of the site to help support it. It is a great source of helpful information, tips and advice as well as a continuous flow of commentary on various companies that use mobile notaries. I set up an Excel spreadsheet last year with two columns, one for Company Names and one for Comments. Each time a company is mentioned on the site, I add it to the spreadsheet along with a quick summary of any comments and other information about it, including location, contact info, etc. Each time new posts are made, I update the spreadsheet. Each company is color coded for Good, Bad and Caution. The gomobilenotary forum is always busy and is visited by persons with all levels of expertise from beginner to awesome expert in the Mobile Notary field, so it's a tremendous resource no matter your level of experience.
