I am excited about the call I received from a title company that said that they got my name from NotariesWork.com. When I joined last week I thought it was a bit expensive ($199.00 annually) but I was impressed with their offering so I joined. I bought 7 companies and the first call I got offered me $275 for a local closing and no fax back. The second call referencing NotariesWork.com confirmed at $150.00. I just bought 7 more companies. At this rate, I will be making good money this year. Just thought I'd let you know, NotariesWork.com must have some good contacts in the marketplace.

One has to wonder....I just did a search in my area and got no results for any notaries. In fact, I even did Baltimore, MD and my search resulted nothing. They must all be ala carte members. Hmmm.... I also never knew that a lifetime consisted of five years. For now, I think I will hold onto my hard earned dollars-JMHO.

I just have to reply: I have made a lot of money over the years signing loans and I haven't received $275 for a job in more than a year. If it smells like a duck, it is a duck and this smells. I would never, ever pay to get jobs from a signing service. Signing companies NEED YOU to keep their database full - they should pay us. Unless I'm missing something, the fee is outrageous and anyone who contributes to it is hurting our industry big-time.

Your research is good, but not quite thorough. The problem that was discovered in your case was that that email was entered incorrectly (eg, .coma instead of .com) and when your email was received it was discovered by the webmaster and corrected and an email sent to you.

The site is working. It is a good site. I joined when I said I did and got a call when I said I did and offered the fee quoted. I am a member and I am getting calls. The companies call for whoever is listed and I am listed along with others who are getting calls. That's a good thing, and it's as simple as that. I am excited. I thought it would be helpful to others and it is.

Members are visible to the general public. The Ala Carte's that purchase companies are working, and some have upgraded to members. The Ala Carte's that registered are registered, but not visible to the public.

I am sorry that I gave the wrong impression, but I am truly excited about the site!

After reading the post from jlissem, I decided to do some reasearch on this company. It is indeed registered to Denise Thomas (finelinesv).

In her post, Denise claims to have received a call from a title company that told her they got her name from NotariesWork.com. She states in her post that she thought the website membership fee was a bit pricey ($199) but that she was impressed with what they had to offer so she went ahead and joined. Just how does one join their own company?

At any rate, before I finished with my research, I decided go ahead and give NotariesWork.com a try. I submitted the $5 registration for the Ala Carte service. You can purchase company contacts that way vs forking out the big bucks (several hundred dollars) in becoming a member.

It has been a little over a week since I registered. After many email attempts I was finally able to contact Denise to let her know that her email link on her site was not working.

She contacted me letting me know that the link had been fixed and that I could now access the website by using my email address and password. Well I'm still not able to get on. I've sent a couple more emails letting her know that I still am not able to sign on but to date I still have not heard back from her.

I don't think her posting on this forum was an honest approach. If you want to adverstise your company, then do so professionally and honestly.

I'll let you know if I ever hear from her and whether or not it's worth it. So far I'm not impressed with the level of customer service that I have received.

Just for the record NotariesWork.com is registered to Denis Thomas-Ellis (finelinesv). Seems to have good results from their own site.
