If you're certified through NNA you are a member and should automatically be listed as long as you remain a member.

I am certified with NNA however my listing doesn't show up on signingagent.com
Do I have to pay to be a "member" for my info to show up?

I have so many negative issues with the NNA, from their soliciting every notary in the USA to become an NSA (thereby flooding the market with competition) to their lowball fee schedule (minimums they may be - but many companies want to start from there and go down, not up) to their pushing the not-required-by-GLBA background screenings and so many other issues -- well, I purely detest the NNA in many ways.

Having said that, they have the largest list of signing companies and title companies on the web -- and, according to the NNA website, they recently were ACCREDITED by the folks who count, the same accreditation agency that the US Dept of Ed uses for continuing ed classes in other industries. They also have sweetheart deals with some of the largest title companies to only use them for background screenings (an issue that they stirred up and for which I will probably have a hard time ever forgiving them). So, if you are serious about this business, it pays to be on signingagent.com, take their classes and get the certification that carries national accreditation, and get the background screening that will keep you in line for work with the biggest title co's.

I intend to do all those as soon as I can figure out how to write them a check while holding my nose.

In the 8 months I've been in business I've gotten quite a few calls as a result of SigningAgent.com - and not all low paying companies -the assignments I've accepted have all met or exceeded my fees.

I have been a signing agent for three years. I was signed up with Notary Rotary and SigningAgent.com. 99% of the work that I got from Directories came from SigningAgent.com. This past year I signed up with 123 and it seems the business has transitioned from SigningAgent.com to 123. I think more companies are using 123 now.

I just registered with SigningAgent.com. However, almost every call I have received 123Notary is the source, hands down!!!

I received my first call ever, when I first started out as a signing agent, through signingagents.com, and I still do get some calls from it....but by far, 123notary is where most of my calls come through!

I have received more work from companies who obtained my information from 123Notary than any other. The membership fee is well worth it.

The bulk of my business has come from self marketing. As far as listings go- 123 has been the best listing- money well spent.

I like the NNA for its educational materials and nationwide information. I have received a few calls from signingagent.com - title companies, signing companies and others, which is basically the same for any other site I am listed on.

I look at it as one more internet site that I can advertise on for anyone to find me. I don't do "marketing." I let companies look for me, I don't look for them .... unless recommended by a knowledgable friend.

I have received some calls from signingagent.com as well. I started my notary business in august of this year, but this "newbie" has got 16 years experience closing loans. Be careful in your stereotypes Mr. Negrete....Just because a company is new doesnt mean the closers are "greenhorns".

I use 3 Databases to find notaries.
1) 123notary.com
2) Notaryrotary.com
3) Signingagent.com

I find that most of signingagent.com is newnotaries that are green to doing loan closings. My next pick is NotaryRotary.com, they let you chose what kind of printer the notary my have. 123notary.com is also up there with notaryrotary.com as far as type of printer also.

I am not listed with signingagent.com, but I do run a SS and that is our first and foremost when it comes to looking for notaries. It seems that there are the most on there and to me it seems to be the easiest website to understand with just a glance.
