Hi there, fun video! I have also been doing this job for 9 years (just re-upped my commission for the third time!) I keep similiar things in my bag, and use that same fantastic journal, but here are a few more things that I carry:

Individually packaged handi-wipes - I've found that people are most pleased when they have something to wipe their thumb with, even if I do use an "inkless" pad.

Fingertip moistener/rubber fingertip - Nothing worse than a notary who constantly licks his/her fingers to pick up pages.

Receipt book - for obvious reasons

I carry post-its in regular size, as well as smaller, brightly colored ones. They can be useful to mark a specific page, say for an error on the document, and helpful when I'm back to back and I have to go home and fax later, I mark the pages that need to be faxed as I'm going through the package with the borrower. Saves a lot of time!

As far as forms go, I also carry the ones you do but I carry one more, the Copy Certification by Document Custodian.

Keep up the great work!

HAHA, Yes! My bag and yours have pretty much the exactly the same things.

I would also recommend carrying various types of blue pens. Such as gel grips for the occasional signer with severe arthritis. I also carry binder clips and instead of staples, paper clips as the companies I tend to work with hate anything stapled.

Other than that I like your idea about taping the fingerprinting pad. I'm having the same problem with the black pad in the black suitcase and can't believe I didn't think of this solution myself...

Great video, very helpful.
