Become a Colorado notary public
Qualifications
To become a notary public in the state of Colorado you must be a resident 
of Colorado and be at least 18 years of age. You must be able to read and 
write English. You must be familiar with Colorado notary law. You must not 
have been convicted of a misdemeanor involving dishonesty during the last 
five years, or a felony at any point in your life.  You must never have 
had a notary commission revoked.
 
Procedure
You must read the "Notaries Public Act" accessible from the Colorado notary 
division website.  Please carefully fill out the application completely.
