This was the first time that I used this notary and I will not be using her again. She failed to follow any of the instructions I sent with the docs. She printed everything on legal paper, when letter size was requested. She was to scan all docs back to me after the signing, it took her 5 hours to scan the docs back to me for review and she only sent them after I requested them. There were several mistakes and she told me she was not able to return to the borrower to get the docs corrected the same day. Somehow once I reminded her that was unacceptable, this was time sensitive and if the docs were not corrected the same day the buyer would need to resign, she managed to make it work. The docs were returned but some mistakes remained and the buyer still had to resign several docs. I do not recommend this notary to anyone. She does not follow clearly stated instructions and almost jeopardized this loan closing.

Notary's responses:
I am very sorry that you were not happy with the job that I completed for you. I do several closings each day and while I strive to get docs scanned and emailed back as soon as possible, sometimes it takes time to get back to the office. I always strive for as close to perfection as possible, but unfortunately, issues such as traffic, being close to scanners, length of closings, etc. play a role in delays from time to time. I take my job very seriously and I enjoy it very much. I apologize again and would value a chance to work with your company again in the future.

Priscilla was very professional and pleasant to work with. She was right on time and notarized some documents for my senior Mom. She was very pro-active and protective on behalf of my mother which I appreciated very much. I found the charges for her services to be very reasonable and I would recommend Priscilla and definitely use her services again.

I have now used this notary for 2 reverse mortgage closings. Both had issues for missing signatures. Both times she was unavailable to fix her mistakes. The first time the borrower had to print sign and scan and fed ex the counseling cert she did not get signed. The 2nd time the same issue arised with the counseling cert but also additional missing signatures on docs. I had to hire another notary to handle as she was not available. I will not be hiring this notary again.

Notary's responses:
I am very sorry that Dawn Fenney was not satisfied with my services. I have emailed her two times apologizing and have gotten no response back.
Both times that I worked for her, I was out of town the next day and was unable to get back with the signers. This most recent time, I simply told her that I was out of town without my notary stamp. I did not need to re-Notarize any docs, so I could have scanned and emailed the unsigned docs to the signers and they could have gotten them back to me and I could have gotten them back to Dawn. However, she simply said she was unhappy and wouldn't use me again.
As I mentioned before, I apologized twice and there was no response.
I have been doing signings for almost 3 years and I am very serious about my job. Mistakes can and are occasionally made by all parties in the closing process, and we all have to work together to have a successful result. I work very hard and I care about my performance and my reputation. While I am sorry that my performance was unsatisfactory to Ms. Fenney,

I will continue to provide courteous and professional service in my presentations.

Priscilla was prompt, professional and a pleasure to meet. She was able to accommodate my schedule when it changed prior to our original meeting time. I would highly recommend Priscilla. She provides a valuable service in a professional manner.

Negative reviews
123notary.com protects all of its notaries from slander and unfair reviews since a bad review could effect their business.. If you had a bad experience with a notary, please express all pertinent facts clearly and politely in writing giving a clear description as to who all the parties are to the transaction; and what the notary did wrong. Our staff will do a two stage screening process for all negative reviews before posting. Step one - if there is any doubt about the review, we would contact the writer of the negative review by email, phone, or both, to make absolutely sure that the negative information is really true. Step two is to also give the notary a chance to write a rebuttle before deciding whether or not to post a negative review.
