Shirley was great to work with. She was on time, very professional and personable. We would work with her again.

Hi Shirley has helped me over the years with both of my businesses whenever I needed a notary. She is always professional, timely, and pleasant. I have come to trust her experience and in-depth knowledge and will continue to contact her when needed.

I was very impressed with how willing Shirley was to notarize my documents even though she already had a very busy day scheduled. Her professionalism and smile made it a comfortable experience.

Although Shirley had a full day, she managed to fit in coming to my house to notarize paperwork for my house purchase. She was even held up by a highway accident on her way to my home, and called to let me know, but still managed to arrive quickly. She was professional, efficient, and even made the process fun! I feel like I have made a new friend! Most importantly, I know that Shirley cared, and did everything in her power to bring the process to fruition. In the flow of purchasing a house, there are countless people, agencies and technologies that must work together to finalize the deal; I am grateful that Shirley was a part of the process, for she is a team player and helped me to win the "game"!

Shirley was hired directly, not her company or assistant for a 9:30 am signing with rules that ask to close the order within the same day.

By 2:15 she had not closed her order or responded so we called and she assured she would scan and drop before cut off for Funding next day.

By 9:30 Pm she wouldn't answer her phone but replied by email blaming the tracking label, her assistant, and even the order instructions but none of this explains exactly where the documents are and we need to know.

The unfortunate side is we could have sent a courier from California to Arizona for the docs and now that FedEx isn't showing tracking and her order is now lapsed a whole day - we must explain to clients a notary has lost their documents. This is so unfortunate!

Shirley hasn't responded with any valid information other than "her assistant" (which breaks protocol) took the docs to FedEx and all of her other packages from other companies are tracking fine.

Number one rule of being a signing agent is no one touches the documents except you!

Notary's responses:
In my rebut, I only focused on the actual accusation of my responsibility of losing documents. However, to emphasize who I was trying to work with, I have below a sample of the many threatening e-mails I received from Mr. Mickle. In addition to the 30 text messages calling me names, with more threats. He may be a great business owner, but he does have an awful temper. And, another note - I personally contacted the signers, spoke with Heather and explained the situation, and what may happen in the course of events. I was told they never were contacted by Mr. Mickle.

Jeremy, I take my signings very personal; focusing on my representation for the many companies I work for in a very professional manner. I care for the clients and their documents. But, to be threaten, accused, and mocked - being sent text messages stating "I am going to black ball you everywhere I can", "I am going to sue you, get your commission revoked, etc," is just not conducive to a situation that was facing all involved.

Thus, my response to the his allegations "I lost the documents" - and was negligent is stated above in the attachment.

I scheduled an appointment with Shirley weeks in advance. She was to verify my identity, so that I could testify in a very important court case in another state. She canceled my appointment (with less than two hours notice) by text message and ruined my chance to testify in the case. If you need someone who is reliable, I wouldn't reccommend her at all.

Shirley was assigned to us by our mortgage broker during the process of refinancing our home, but we feel that Fortune treated us well! Shirley was able to flex with our window of availability and met us at our home outside of business hours, which was very helpful. (She also is a dog-lover, which is another big plus in our opinion!) She was friendly, efficient, and kept the process moving along smoothly, explaining issues in the paperwork very clearly. We'd recommend her highly to anyone needing a mobile notary. Thanks, Shirley!

It was a pleasure to have Shirley Fowler come to my home and notarize papers for me. She was very professional. When my papers arrived they were not correct, and I said I could not sign them. I called my agent, and Shirley had the corrected documents sent to her office in another town. Shirley then made copies of the corrected papers and return to my home for the signing. Shirley went beyond her call of duty. I was very grateful that she helped me the way she did. I would highly recommend her for all your notary needs! Rose Aggson

We were very pleased with Shirley's efficiency and speed when we signed our loan documents. Our previous experience had been very exhausting, but she made it easy!

I have known Shirley professionally for over 16 years and found her to be consistently pleasant with true dedication and a smile. Some of her general characteristics are her self-motivation, always being on time, her high degree of integrity, her conscientious attitude toward life, and her energetic personality. She is always considerate and cooperative in her dealings with others and her good judgment and mature outlook ensure a logical and practical approach to her endeavors. She is truly a professional and dedicated person, and it is with my wholehearted endorsement that I recommend her as a notary.

Positive reviews
Please feel free to give any of our notaries a positive review at any time if they did a good job

Neutral reviews
If a notary got the job done but made a small mistake, that counts as a neutral review. Please politely say it like it is.

Negative reviews
123notary.com protects all of its notaries from slander and unfair reviews since a bad review could effect their business.. If you had a bad experience with a notary, please express all pertinent facts clearly and politely in writing giving a clear description as to who all the parties are to the transaction; and what the notary did wrong. Our staff will do a two stage screening process for all negative reviews before posting. Step one - if there is any doubt about the review, we would contact the writer of the negative review by email, phone, or both, to make absolutely sure that the negative information is really true. Step two is to also give the notary a chance to write a rebuttle before deciding whether or not to post a negative review.
