We hired Fritella the Notary to do a seller signing for us Thursday 2/9/2023 at 11:am with scanbacks.
Our office provided very specific Instructions thru email and "sample" pages to avoid mistakes on this POA. Fritella, The Notary arrived on time, but proceeded to insert herself in the process, misguiding the client almost to the point of sounding like a "legal" expert in POA. This made the client feel like he was signing on behalf of his Dad illegally. The title officer had to get involved putting the client at ease as all had gone thru his attorney with approval. The notary, Fritella had accepted scanning the signed docs, but got a flat tire and was delayed returning to her office to scan. Scans were received at 4:37pm and most of the documents had been signed incorrectly and the notary made corrections in her notary blocks and failed to be consistent and did not place her initials where applicable.  The notary did reprint docs and met the client but became very irate, dramatic and rude.  The notary reached out to us and yelled and disrespected us in front of the signor, blaming everyone but herself for incorrectly communicating with the client. The notary refused to scan the second set of documents so she could make the deadline telling us "I''m shipping but not scanning and the docs need to be re-signed then find another notary".  I believe the notary acted inappropriately and may need additional training.  We will not be hiring this notary ever again however.
