Alaska Notary FeesAlaska Statutes do not address this subject for notaries without limitation except that a published fee schedule must be provided to the signer prior to the performance of the notarization if a notary intends to collect a fee for their services (AS 44.50.062 (4)). Statute does state that Limited Governmental Notaries may not charge for notarization. Most states have a maximum fee for Acknowledgments, Jurats, Oaths, and Affirmations, as well as other notary procedures. It can be profitable if you have a notary commission in Alaska if you can market yourself well. There is very little competition.

Washington notary or a Washington resident, you would not be eligible to become an AK Notary because Alaska requires you to be a resident of the state of Alaska to become an AK Notary.
