Certificate forms - what are they?
Most notary acts require some type of certificate wording. There is generally a venue which includes the state and county. Then, there is some text that indicates the name of the signer, that they appeared
before a notary, who the notary is, and information about whether or not they signed a document or swore an oath - depending on what type of notary act you are engaged in. This certificate wording would be embedded in the document that is to be notarized, or could be on a separate sheet of paper. A professional notary carries pads of every
type of commonly used notary certificate forms such as acknolwedgment, jurat, and perhaps copy certification by document custodian.
The notary might even carry blank standard power of attorney forms and standardized paperwork that can document a parent giving permission for their child to travel abroad with a relative or friend.
